Thank goodness it's time for Spring Break! The children are all out of school next week and I am looking forward to not driving around town getting them where they need to be. We are planning some time on the beach and I have a list of farm chores that I am hoping we get done.
Worming the goats is high on the list.
It isn't as bad a job as it sounds. But it does take time to do all 18 goats. They don't care for it much because it involves a needle in their neck. Since we have been raising goats - about 5 years - we haven't had any goats die from worms. It is a great concern for goat farmers. Goats with worms die quickly. So, killing worms and playing on the beach are what we have planned this week.
