Bubble Bath

It's time for a bath for our Elf on the Shelf.

She's getting creative!

It looks as though Taylor McTuttle is pretending to be Santa!
(She must be having a little fun at night
when she gets back from reporting to Santa at the North Pole.)

She's on the move.

Our Elf on the Shelf is finding her way around the house.
Popping up in a pitcher was her resting spot for today.

Found it!

Found the leak, that is.

And the Elf on the Shelf too.

Elf on the Shelf - Day 2

Dear Sarah Kate,
Thanks for playing the Elf on the Shelf game with me!
There is only one rule:  You can't touch me.
Nothing would really happen if you did, but then we couldn't play the game:)
So let's have some fun!
Every day I will be in a new spot and you can try to find me.
I sometimes get into a little elf mischief during the night
when I get back from reporting to Santa.
But when the sun comes up I freeze
and start watching everything that happens all day.
I am happy to report to Santa each night about what goes on at your house.
You have been a very good girl this year
and your brothers and sister have too.
I just can't wait for Christmas.  How about you?
It's my favorite time of the year!
So remember to try your best to make good decisions
and be kind every day.
I'm so very proud of you.
Your friend,
Taylor McTuttle

The Elf on the Shelf

Today marks the first of December
and we were visited, for the first time,
by an elf named Taylor McTuttle.
She sits all day in our house observing our family and
at night she magically travels back to the North Pole
to tell Santa what she has seen.
Every morning she is back in our home to observe once again.
This continues until December 24.
She kind of like Santa's Little Spy.

So we better watch out
we better not cry
we better be kind
I'm telling you why
Santa Clause is coming to town.

Thankful

Before the feast...

and during the feast.
We have so much to be thankful for.
