The Tree Lady

This is the "Tree Lady" in my small farm life.

Her head was empty at first.

But after a storm Kevin noticed that this air plant had fallen.

Now her head isn't empty anymore.

Today we planted two trees.
~One of my favorite things to do.~
I have not had any luck with bananas yet.
This is the third one I have planted.
And peach trees don't normally grow this far south.
But UF says this one can.

We'll keep our fingers crossed.

The Frog

Doing a little yard work Saturday....

and this is what I saw....

THE FROG.

...and Kevin wasn't afraid to pick it up.

Mowing

Mowing.

Because the grass always grows.

...and grows

...and grows.

So I mow.

(And because my "Nanny Goat Lawn Service" doesn't have access to ALL the grass.)

New Gloves?

These are my new gloves after one day.

One day of pulling weeds, trimming bushes and laying pine straw mulch.

I really thought those extra special green tips meant something.

But, alas, they are already going.......and nearly gone.

My small farm life can be tough on gloves.
