Farm Visit

We had a farm visit today.
22 children from a nearby summer camp toured the farm.
And asked questions.
Or made statements.
Like, " I know the difference between a girl goat and a boy goat.
The boy goats have horns and the girl goats don't."
Well, I hated to correct her but did say that
both boy and girl goats have horns.
-----
Dispelling goat myths.
That was my job today.

Another Preschool Visit

Today I had two preschool classes visit.
The children were 3-4 years old.
And my Sarah was one of them!
Altogether we had 30 children, 4 teachers and a few parents.
Some brushed or petted the goats.
And a few even held them.
Everybody fed the horse a carrot.

And nobody cried.
Success!

Preschool Visit

Today a Bright Beginnings preschool class came to visit the farm.
There were 15 little 3-4 year olds.
Plus 2 teachers and a few parents.
After we had pet the baby goats,
fed the horse carrots,
fed the mother goats hay,
and had a snack,
I then asked if anyone had any questions.
One little boy came up and held my hand and asked,
"Is that your pool?"
