The post office called this morning.
They wanted me to come and get my chicks.
I had ordered 3 baby chicks and they were here!
Apparently they were quite loud.
The postman advised me to come soon.
I think it must make them nervous for a package to be chirping.
So between dropping kids off at school I got the box.
And asked Ranae to hold it on the way to school.
She couldn't help but peek.
After I got home I carefully opened the box
and this is what I saw.
Three warm, fuzzy, LOUD day-old chicks.
And this is one reason I love chickens so much.
My 6 grown chickens are laying every day.
Most days we get four eggs!
Can anyone say omelet?
